NELP COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER – SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER
On Saturday 29 November from 10:00am – 2:00pm, NELP will host a community opening of the Estelle
Street Pedestrian Bridge (weather permitting). Belle Vue PS has been invited to run the sausage sizzle,
with all proceeds coming back to our school.
NELP will cover all costs for food and supplies — we just need parent/carer volunteers to help run the BBQ!
If you can spare an hour, please contact the school office. It’s an easy and rewarding way to support Belle
Vue. A strong turnout may also open the door for future community fundraising opportunities with
NELP.ART SHOW – TUESDAY 5 NOVEMBER
We’re so excited for our annual Art Show, coming up on Tuesday 5 November!
If you can lend a hand with setup during the day on Wednesday, please contact the office. Don’t forget to
drop off your LEGO creations and complete the LEGO Form from the office.
TERM 4 COLOUR FUN RUN – MONDAY 25 NOVEMBER
Get ready for colour, laughter and fun! On Monday 25 November, our school grounds will transform into a
colourful mini-marathon. The event promotes health, wellness and community spirit — and guarantees
plenty of smiles!
Tomorrow your child will bring home fundraising information. All funds raised will go towards our Junior
Playground Sandpit Upgrade. A big thank you to everyone who already started the fundraising efforts.
Every dollar makes a difference.
Online registration is now open — let’s make this our brightest event yet!
Our Whole School Swimming Program begins the week of 10 November and will run each day that week at
Aquarena. Each class will travel by bus to and from the venue.
We’re seeking parent/carer volunteers to help support students — please contact your child’s teacher if you
can assist (a current WWCC is required).
As part of our Child Safe commitments, all parent/carer volunteers will be under the guidance and
instructions of the class teacher as per our Learning Partners Agreement.
Existing SSB funds will automatically go towards the cost of the program. Please provide permission via
Compass and complete the accompanying survey.
2026 CLASS STRUCTURE
As we finalise our 2026 Grade Structure, I invite parents and carers to reach out to me directly if there are
any important considerations to take into account during this process.
END OF YEAR COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
Save the date! On Thursday 18 December from 4:00pm, we’ll host our End of Year Community Farewell —
a time to come together, celebrate 2025, and enjoy some surprises along the way!
On this day, we’ll also officially name our upgraded basketball court in honour of Michelle Timms — former
Belle Vue student, WNBA Hall of Fame inductee, Australian Olympic medallist, and Women’s International
Player of the Year (1994 & 1996).
We’re incredibly proud of this connection and the message it sends to our students:
With determination and effort, Belle Vue students can achieve anything.
