The students in grades 1 and 2 are enjoying their second week of looking at multiplication during maths.
This week we have begun looking at arrays (the visual representation of multiplication in rows and columns) and the commutative law (the law that says you can swap numbers around and still get the same answer when you add or when you multiply.) We have played lots of fun games, with our favourite being Pacman, to test our knowledge of our times tables so far.
