Grade 3/4 Camp 2017 – Camp Rumbug

This year’s grade 3/4 camp took place at Camp Rumbug (near Foster North). Students were challenged by a wide variety of activities including abseiling, aeroball, flying fox, canoeing, raft building, orienteering, team challenge and a mud run. Students rose to the challenges and demonstrated the importance of the You Can Do It Keys (particularly the Term 2 focus – persistence). The school newsletter item (including photos) can be viewed by clicking here.

Lots of teamwork was required as well as hard work, a good example of this was the activity groups pulling together for the raft building.

A major challenge was the abseiling with students needing to conquer the height of this obstacle as well as listening carefully to the instructions of the Camp Rumbug staff.

It proved to be a very successful and enjoyable camp.
