BELLE VUE BOOK AWARDS

What a fantastic morning at BVPS earlier this week to celebrate all our students as Authors. The Belle Vue Book Award has become a significant and exciting event on our school calendar, where every student in the school becomes an author, working through the writing process to create their own narrative over a term.

Every student will have their book read by their peers in class, who use marking criteria developed with their teachers to shortlist the stories in each class. Congratulations to our Shortlisted authors, those who received an Honourable Mention and to our winners for 2024.

We are incredibly proud of all our Belle Vue authors for their effort and time in creating their own narratives. This was a wonderful event to celebrate literacy at BVPS.

Thank you to all of our parent helpers, especially Emma Davidson, our Yr 5/6 Art Show team and our musicians who provided background music.
