Year 6 Graduation

“If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember…

You are braver than you believe,

stronger than you seem,

and smarter than you think.

But the most important thing is even if we’re apart,

I’ll always be with you.”

On Tuesday 11th December 2018 the Belle Vue community celebrated a momentous occasion – the Graduation of our current Year 6s.

The night was full of exciting, funny and heart-warming stories, led by our wonderful graduates who each shared an engaging speech with the friends, families and teachers in attendance. Each student was asked to share a special memory from Belle Vue, something they had learned throughout their primary years and what they would most miss from their early education.

The students also got the chance to reminisce with a commemorative slideshow, displaying photos from across their years at Belle Vue Primary.

At the end of the night, the graduates farewelled their guests with a graduation dance to the song ‘I lived’ by One Republic.

We wish our Year 6 graduates all the best for next year as they transition into High School. We hope they continue to display the school values they have learned over their time at Belle Vue, continuing to face their education and lives in general with a positive growth mindset. To paraphrase A.A. Milne, you can always be braver, stronger and smarter than you were yesterday.
