As part of our integrated unit “Watch It Grow!” we have been growing lots of different seeds and watching how things develop from a seed into a seedling. One thing we have noticed is that our sunflowers and broadbeans have grown best when we keep them inside overnight. We think this happens because the plants don’t get too cold or get frost bite.
Today we will take our sunflowers home and look after them in our own gardens – but here are some pictures of our progress so far. The broad beans are in the black seedling trays and the sunflowers are the taller seedlings in the individual pots.
