The Preps have been at school for 100 days! Can you believe it?
We held an amazing assembly to celebrate this wonderful day.
Here we are getting ready before the assembly, waiting for the whole school and all the families to arrive.
We started off the assembly singing some songs for everyone. We love singing!
Then each Prep student gave a speech about what they have learnt and what they have enjoyed about school so far. What a wonderful effort for each Prep to bravely speak in front of everyone!
After the assembly we took some class snaps and photos with our buddies.
Thanks to everyone for coming along and celebrating along with the Preps!Read More »

Throughout term 2, the grade 5/6 students have been studying Australian Democracy. Building on from our first hand experiences in Canberra earlier in the year, we have explored the roles and responsibilities of government, the Australian democratic system, operations of parliament, the electoral process, along with looking at Federation and the different experiences and perspectives of Australian democracy and citizenship throughout history.
To help students in gaining a deeper insight into Australia’s history and political system, we like to make the lessons hands on as much as possible. In the attached photos, we can see grade 5/6 students participating in role play scenarios of the electoral process and passing a bill in parliament.Read More »
