Be part of our secret mission…
Who doesn’t love a Secret Mission?
Our brief this year is to raise as much money as we can for our great school. So dust off that tuxedo, pull out that glamour dress and mark Saturday, 5 August as ‘Mission Accepted’ in your calendars.
We are delighted to be able to invite you, your family and friends to the The Smith (www.thesmithprahran.com.au) for an evening of Bond themed entertainment.
This is one of the hottest venues in Melbourne and is perfect for an evening rendezvous.
There will be no children present, just great music from DJ Will, a selection of Bond’s favourite cocktails and fabulous auction items.
Get in now and buy your tickets at www.trybooking.com/qgpc.
Thanks to Melbourne’s Leading Nanny Agency, the first nine people to buy their tickets win a gift voucher worth $75!
Together we can raise some serious funds to help support many of our school’s ‘extra curricula’ activities and provide many other experiences that our students wouldn’t otherwise receive.
Follow us on Instagram @bvps_annual_fundraiser to see more of the British Secret Service agent and his ladies with their sophisticated style and cool gadgets. Who knows, they might meet you there!

From the Principal’s Desk
I would like to welcome you and your family to Belle Vue Primary School.
I believe you will find our community to be an open and friendly one, with a sincere desire for parents to take an active part in their children’s schooling. Please browse through this website as a starting point in the journey for the selection of a primary school that will best meet your child’s needs. The next step should include an appointment to have a school tour. This, I believe, is an important part of the school selection process. The school atmosphere needs to match your expectations of your son or daughter’s primary schooling. It is most important that children are happy and engaged during their seven years at primary school.
We are proud of our school and the high standard of education we provide for our students. We aim to provide our students with educational opportunities that will enable them to reach their full potential and achieve success academically, socially and personally. Our curriculum is inclusive and developmental. Students are challenged to extend their skills and knowledge in a caring and supportive environment. The staff at Belle Vue Primary School are an enthusiastic and experienced team of people who are committed to excellence and to making a positive difference to student outcomes
We want our students to feel safe and happy. We want them to enjoy learning and achieve highly. We want them to be confident in tackling challenges but be caring of others along the way. We want them to develop positive social skills, healthy relationship values and a strong sense of themselves as individuals. Belle Vue Primary School is a friendly, dynamic community. There are many opportunities for parental involvement. I hope that through your participation and interest you will come to feel very much a part of our school and its community.
We look forward to meeting you soon.

LINKS FOR KIDS
LINKS FOR PARENTS
Department of Education & Training,Australian Council of State School Organisations,
Belle Vue Primary School offers a music program for all students from Foundation to Grade 6. Our music curriculum focuses on creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel confident to take on new challenges and step out of their comfort zones.
The music program consists of a variety of musical games, activities and comprehensive formal lessons taken from the Music Room Classroom Music Program.
Throughout the school year, students experience playing a variety of percussive and melodic instruments as a whole class and in small groups. They also gain an understanding of basic rhythmic and theoretical concepts, as well as having plenty of opportunities to create their own music. These can be complemented by our extra-curricular Instrumental Lessons.
It is extremely satisfying to see our students enjoying their learning experience and working together to achieve the core ideals and objectives of the music program.Read More »
